How to play mash

Print out or download the MASH board.

Find Your Magic Number (You can play alone or with another person)

• Have another player draw a spiral from the center outwards in the spiral section. You can draw the spiral yourself if your playing alone.
• Say "stop" to have the second player stop drawing the spiral. You can stop drawing the spiral when you want if you're playing alone.
• Draw a line from the center of the spiral to the left edge of the page.
• Count how many times the spiral lines intersect your straight line. That total is your magic counting number.

Eliminate options in each category

• Go through each choice one by one starting with MASH.
• Start counting through all available choices using your magic number.
• Cross out every choice that lands precisely on your magic number until only ONE choice is left in each category. Skip Items already crossed out.
