FILM CLUB 2026

What’s the Film Club?
Film lovers gather on selected Sunday mornings for the purpose of screening and critiquing 
independent or foreign films not yet in release in the Washington area. Garin Pappas will host and introduce each film in the series and will lead a post screening discussion with the audience. No, we don’t tell you what is being screened ahead of time.

WHERE:
CINEMA ARTS THEATRE – FAIR CITY MALL – 9650-14 MAIN STREET, FAIRFAX, VA 22031 

WHEN:
10AM Sunday, June 21, July 19, August 16, September 20, October 4, October 18

WHAT’S THE DEAL:
The cost of a full membership to see all 6 films is $100 
Individual tickets for single shows can be purchased at the box office on the day of the screening for $19. 

HOW DO I JOIN:
Bring cash, check or a card to the box-office.
Special note: Any unused ticket can be exchanged to see any regularly scheduled show at Cinema Arts through December 31, 2026. 
 
COOL FACT:
We distribute survey cards and tally results that are used to determine if we should bring in the film
for a theatrical run!! The Film Club has become an accurate predictor of a movie’s success at Cinema Arts!!!

Garin Pappas is thrilled to be the new host of the Cinema Arts Film Club.

He is the owner of Right On! Records, a vinyl shop in Herndon. At Cinema Arts, Garin hosted Right On! Movie Nights, showcasing eclectic double-features of cult cinema. Garin studied English & Philosophy at James Madison University and theater at Fairfax High School. Garin loves sharing movies, music, and culture with the community, and he looks forward to seeing you each month at Film Club!
